What we collect
- Comments: if you leave a comment, we store the name, email address and comment you enter, plus your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. Comments may be checked by an automated spam service (Akismet). Your email address is never published.
- Messages you send us: if you contact us, we keep what you send only to reply to you.
- Analytics: with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser). Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
- Cookies: the site uses necessary cookies to work and, only if you allow them, analytics and marketing cookies. Your choices are managed by the CookieAdmin consent banner, and you can change them at any time from the cookie settings button.
We do not sell your personal data.

We link to the official FORScan site, forscan.org, for the software and licenses, and to other third-party sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
How long we keep data
Comments and their metadata are kept as long as the comment stays on the site. Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in Google Analytics.
